Saturday 6/2/13 What a great day!

What a great day!  Two things happened at work today that really encouraged me, and I would like to share them with you.

First one of my bosses was walking by me, and decided to tell me that they read my blog and keep up with it.  I have been trying to do this thing and I see the hits but I don’t know if it is people looking one time and that is it or if I truly have some followers.  I have hoped for more comments, not for my ego but for the benefit of each other.  But to know people are interested and keep coming back is really nice to know.

Second thing is that I had a customer who I did not recognize come up to me at my table and said, “you have lost weight since the last time I was at your table.”  I thanked him and told him I was working real hard.  I have begun noticing that my clothes are starting to get big on me.  I am starting to see for myself (not just on the scale) the fruits of my labor.

Just finished another great workout and I am sore.  Feeling good.  As I said earlier, I really want this site not just to be about my journey.  I would like us to do this together, encourage one another, pray for one another, share with one another.  And I want to post the journeys of others on this blog, so it can be john’s journey and Susan journey, and phil journey, and so on and on…

And the journey continues……

John, I truly do enjoy seeing these types of posts. Non-scale victories are just as important. Its uplifting to see the clothes get bigger (even when it’s you that’s getting smaller!), the comments people make to you, the longer distances you can go, the amount of weight you can lift, etc. Everyone’s different, but its all good. Keep going!

Thank you Jessica, I like these type of post too. It seems like everyday, someone is asking how much or making comments about my clothes getting bigger. but even saying all that, it really is about the change inside. That is the most important thing. The great comments are temporary, the change can last a lifetime.
